I am often asked how I got started in yoga. I decided it was time to actually sit down and revisit this journey that began about 18 years ago with a young, middle-school aged girl who was diagnosed with scoliosis, due to a severely misshapen spine.That is the beginning of my physical yoga journey. And through the years I began to see the mental, emotional and spiritual benefits of this practice after experiencing post traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, and depression from several life experiences.
