This meditation is an invitation to remember that you are a human being and not a human doing. We don't always have to be productive. We don't always have to do all the things. We can relax and know that stillness is okay. Just sitting and being is more than enough. Being still is just as productive as putting in work and effort. It doesn't serve us to make ourselves feel bad just because we aren't performing at lightening speed or doing what someone else is doing. Your body and mind deserves to just be at times. You deserve to just be. Join me as we meditate together and remember that our being is important. By just existing here on earth, we are already important. We don't have to earn this. It is our birthright.
You'll want to have a block or cushion for this one so that you can prop yourself up. Meditation is best when you are as comfy as possible in an upright, seated position. Ideally, your knees will fall below your hips so that you can fully relax and let go of any clenching in the body.
