Welcome to Day 1 of my "Quarantine Quickie" Yoga Challenge. Core day!
Our core is such an essential part of our bodily movements. Working this area in your yoga practice improves your posture and balance amongst other things. It also helps you transition between poses, alleviates back pain, and more. When we strengthen our core, our bodies become more stabilized. Everything begins here.
The "Quarantine Quickie" Yoga Challenge is a 7-day challenge that targets a single focus area each day. For just 10 minutes each day, we'll do a series of movements to benefit that area. The challenge is designed to get you out of your head and into your body swiftly (hence the word, "quickie") and then on with your day. But most importantly, the goal and hope of this challenge is for you to experience the true benefits of a yoga practice during a time in the world when we definitely need it most. We don't need to do a whole lot each day to benefit from yoga and take care of ourselves mentally, physically and spiritually. Some days, 10 minutes is all you have. And I'm here to show you, that is enough.
