Welcome to Day 4 of the "Mind Magic" Meditation Challenge. Today's theme is "Listen".
In this meditation, we explore the power of intuition: the ultimate knowing. Each of us is born with an inner voice that helps guide our path. The challenge happens when we start muting this voice in exchange for the chatter of the world. All of the answers that we seek are already within us. The more we tune out the opinions of others and tune into ourselves, the sharper this ability to hear and trust that inner voice becomes.
Day 4 journal questions to enhance your meditation experience: Responses don't have to be shared openly as they're for your own personal reflection.
1. Each of us is born with intuition. This is our internal compass that helps guide us in our individual journey. What is your current decision making process when you're faced with having to make a choice about a situation?
2. Do you trust yourself? How do you know? What does trusting yourself feel like? If you don't, what hinders you from trusting this inner sacred wisdom?
3. Reflect and write about two situations: a time that you did listen to yourself and a time that you did not listen to yourself and instead, took the advice of someone else. What was the outcome of each situation?

The "Mind Magic" Meditation Challenge is a 7-Day experience that takes you on a journey through the self. For about 20 minutes each day, we'll focus on a unique theme that examines our emotions, thoughts and actions: how we are showing up for ourselves, others and the world. The challenge was designed for Mental Health Awareness Month (May) with a goal of bringing more awareness to our mental health. Meditation has many benefits that enhances your mental well being like calming the nervous system, reducing stress & anxiety, increasing your self awareness and more. Additionally, the hope is that this challenge will inspire you to begin or continue your meditation practice. Anyone can meditate. All you need is a willingness to get still, get quiet and go within.
